Good-Bad-Good-Decision? Which path to take?

16 May, 2025, 2:20pm.
We are just back from Geelong. This morning was my appointment with Dr Rachel Delahunty at ALCC re. results of latest CT scan and steps going forward.

I am writing this for posting to my two Dr Joe related groups on FB ("Joe Dispenza Study Group", and "Dr Joe Dispenza meditation group")

Hello fellow soul travellers,
I don't normally discuss my medical condition in any detail and much less, on a social platform. However this time, and though I am new to the group, I feel that I am on a journey with people who are more on less, on a very similar path to mine: i.e. dealing with, emerging from, emerged from a limiting self/circumstance/condition and moving toward a more expanded and whole version of our lives/health/being.

While not new (and not experienced either) to meditation, I only started Dr Joe's work from Feb of this year: shortly after I was told that my body had another recurrence of cancer that was originally diagnosed 10 years ago and had been "free" of it till recently.

Since Feb, I have delved right into Dr Joe's work: POC (Progressive Online Course), online coherence healing (very, very grateful), his books ('Becoming Supernatural', 'Breaking the Habit of being Yourself', 'You are the Placebo'). Have meditated every day: 2-3 times a day; total of 1-3 hours per day. Have listened to all the testimonials on his website, and almost all on YouTube; listened to lots of talks and interviews on YT, including 'Rewired' documentary on Gaia.

I was told to get surgery immediately, followed by chemo in Feb. Instead, I took 3 months off for myself to get into Dr Joe's works. And I have been diligent; admist the usual bouts of doubts & questioning. I can only say that unlike my "normal" previous self (and much to my own amazement), I am quite happy that I have been consistent and diligent in my practice, both physically, emotionally, and mentally.

Which brings me to today. My 3 months were up. I had blood tests and CT scan recently. And today, the oncologist told me the results: "Good - Bad - Good".

• Good - in that no other tumours have appeared.
• Bad - that one tumour has grown (approx 1cm) but which will cause death if it progresses
• Good - when asked, she said that for this type of cancer surprisingly, it has grown at a slower rate than expected

In Feb when I found out about the recurrence which was rapidily followed by a whirlwind of multiple tests, scans, travels (I live far from big cities/town), ... there was some confusion (in medical appointments) and I experienced an extreme moment of mental chaos (mini breakdown where my brain just "fizzled" and would not work). Thank God, that lasted for only a minute or so.

Undoubtedly, there was fear. But there has been virtually little to none, ever since I started with Dr Joe's work. And today, there was none. Just rather surprisingly, inner calmness. However....

I have another appointment in 9 days with the oncology surgeon in the big city. And I will be required to give my decision on what I want to do: go ahead with their medical recommendaions (surgery and chemo); or not.

I find myself in suspended BLANKNESS: neither confused nor decisive; neither sure nor unsure (of which path to take); neither fearful nor confident. Obviously a big part of me would rather not have any more surgery (the last one 10 years ago was "major", as they repeatedly described it), and no more chemo (from which there are long-lasting repercussions which I still deal with today). However, they do pronounce the strong possibility of the "voodoo curse" (death) if I do not take up any of their recommended medical procedures.

I apologise for this lengthy post. I am not asking anyone to give me an answer (which obviously only I can find). But if anyone has gone through something similar, and/or have insights to share, I would deeply appreciate to hear of your story/progress/victory.

Thank you so much.
