Well, something happened last night ... sort of. But some seemingly little things have been happening for a while anyway. What they are, I am not sure. Mystical bits and pieces? I don't know.

It is not that I feel I want to blog about it, or that there is a driving urge. But there is an inner "advice" or "push" that I should write this down. I don't exactly know why it seems a bit important. For record keeping? To look back to? Whatever the reason, let's start with the "little, little winds". (Not the gassy kind; the breezy kind!)
"The little bits of Wind"
For lack of a more precise term, that is what I am calling these experiences.
Almost from day one (of Dr Joe's meditations back in Jan? Feb 2025?), it was not uncommon that as soon as I started meditation, or somewhere along the way (usually early on), I would feel as if the hair at the top of my head was being ruffled by some "little wind". Not quite a breeze, mind you. It only covered the top of my head; not all around me.
In the beginning, I noticed it but did not make much of it.
First, I had experienced this exact type of sensation in years past, when I was (occasionally) meditating (non-Dr Joe). But it never went beyond that - just a slight ruffling of the hair.
Second, these "little winds" were the same - they didn't progress into something bigger or something more understandable either. Not during those meditations where it happened, and not after.

But there were some changes even though I was not paying them much attention or appreciating them very much. (Maybe one needs to appreciate these signs, no matter how small, for more to happen? Especially when I keep asking for signs?!)
The "little bits of wind" experiences continue to be not uncommon, but not consistent. However they do then to vary in strength. (And last night, it moved to include the back of my head.)
For example, a week or more ago, it happened outside of meditation. I had just had my shower, getting ready for bed, when I felt that familiar hair-ruffling at the top of my head. I thought to myself, "It is probably from some wind coming in from the bathroom window." So I closed that window, even though it was only slightly ajar.
The ruffling continued unabated. Then I thought, maybe it was some errant breeze along the corridor outside the bathroom?
So I went into my studio and closed the door. All doors and windows closed. The ruffling continued!
So I decided to sit down for a meditation (Dr Joe's). I don't remember what happened to the ruffling sensation during the meditation. But "nothing" happened that was big or mystical during or after the meditation that I was aware of. So once again, a non-event puzzle.
And that's all I have right now about the "little bits of wind" experiences. I don't know what they mean, why they happen, or if they have any meaning at all.
"The Right Kidney Electric Pulse"

Again so named because I don't know what else to call it. It happened last night. Most unexpectedly. And I have never felt anything like this ever before - in or out of meditation.
I had just started Dr Joe's BOTEC (Blessing of the Energy Centers) meditation, from the POC (Progressive Online Course): maybe in Energy Center #1 or #2. And all of a sudden, I had this very clear, very distinct inner muscle pulse or spasm. It was in the back, on my right side - which I just googled. Seems to me it might be where the right kidney is.

This continued up to maybe the #4 energy center. I think it kind of disappeared or tapered off after that.
The closest similar sensation I can think of is the Electric Neck Massager which uses low-voltage pulse technology.
I was so intrigued that I had a second round of the BOTEC meditation right after the first. But the pulsing sensation was no where to be felt.
And that is why I was not going to write up about either types of experiences: because I am left stratching my head, wondering what is happening here - if anything. Part of the journey into the unknown I guess. So I just want to thank the Divine/Universe for puzzling but very interesting "trips". And maybe one day, I will have my "aha" and know why.
Footnote:
I have just returned from my usual afternoon walk on the beach. I was listening to Gary Zukav's "The Seat of the Soul" audiobook. I can't explain it but my eyes were leaking faucets! I wasn't exactly emotional or thinking about any specific emotional person/thing/experience. 🤷🏻♀️
And then on my walk home, I was "urged/pressed" to write this blog about those aforementioned "mini mystical" experiences.
