Stand By Me

I had a talk

with you

long overdue

rambling and alcohol fuelled

yet true

about him and them

those monsters

and of you and me.

Did you get it?

– my heart torn hidden anguish.

Will I have to pay in the time to come?

or will you Stand By Me?
