Beginning of shCREDO
Boy! I just wrote a whole first blog ... and was saying how tentative and even fearful I was in creating a blog entry. And then I wrote what I thought were some pretty deep and cool stuff. And guess what? Failed to save it and it has now all gone! sob!
"shCREDO" was not so much my idea but rather an idea that came to me. Was over 15 years ago. And it did make one short-lived manifestation on the web ... then my life got real messy and harried, and Poof! ... it was gone. "Life" took over with all its insistent attendant worries and responsibilities.
But sometimes, it really is not we who create and own an idea ... we are just called to be the channel or instrument.Over the many rocky and good years in between its first visit to me and now ... it has never left me. It would come by every now and then and ask if I was ready.
I am now. And though I have my own ideas on how this site will take shape, I have a sneaking suspicion that I am not the real "captain of this ship"! But whether an idea is its own destiny maker and a energy force in itself, we do have a choice. And that choice lies in our state - are we ready or not. More importantly I think, it is about are we willing or not. Are we willing to let it take us where it might despite any self-preconception of where we think it should go.I will write more about "shCREDO" and what it means to me now .. and what I thought it meant before. But then again, it may (come to) mean something quite different to you, the reader.
